Relaxing Swedish
Enjoy a relaxing, full-body Swedish massage - designed to increase the body's circulation which fosters healthy oxygen flow and releases toxins in the body's superficial muscles. Swedish massage uses steady, gentle pressure to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension. Hot steam towels and aromatherapy are incorporated into this classic massage to ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.

Specified Deep Tissue
Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. This is typically quite focused work to release chronic adhesions, tension, and pain. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries in the body's deeper muscles.

Sports Focused Massage
Sports massage utilizes a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, myofascial release, and stretching. The massage focuses on specific muscle systems utilized in a particular sport with the goal of increasing circulation and range of motion while reducing tension and lactic acid accumulation. Particularly great for those training or recovering from an event or anyone with an active lifestyle.

Cranial Sacral Integrations
This modality uses gentle, subtle touch manipulation to evaluate and balance the body's craniosarcral system. The client remains clothed throughout this uniquely meditative session. The treatment includes a series of gentle holding positions to stimulate deep relaxation and alleviate muscle tension in the head, neck, and base of the spine.

Stretching Thai Massage
This modality is also sometimes referred to as "yoga massage." Thai massage includes a combination of stretching, compressing, rocking, and pulling to loosen muscles and limbs. The practitioner uses body weight to apply pressure and works from a variety of angles to deepen stretches and move the client through their full range of motion. Clients remain clothed and this treatment is performed on a mat on the floor rather than on a massage table.

Traditional Chinese Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a Japanese modality that is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine. "Shiatsu" actually means finger pressure. This treatment involves the practitioner using fingers, palms, and knuckles, moving in a rhythmic sequence along the body's meridians in order to assess the client's energetic state (Qi). Shiatsu aims to rebalance the "Kyo" and "Jitsu" by applying pressure to specific points, removing blockage along the meridian lines. The client remains clothed during the session and this modality is performed on a mat on the floor rather than a massage table.

Private Yoga Instruction
Hatha yoga is a holistic approach to yoga that includes postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), and meditation. Yoga is a stress-reducing practice that helps to correct postural imbalances by lengthening tight muscles and strengthening the weaker ones. Proper alignment is key to building a solid asana practice and balanced body. I use props and modifications in order to meet each yogi on their level, wherever they are in their practice. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, and blankets will be provided for you.
